High performance non-shrink grout and flowable structural repair mortar R4

Product Description

VELOSIT® NG 512 is a high performance cementitious grout. It is dual shrinkage compensated for precision grouting applications and is non-metallic. VELOSIT® NG 512 can also be used as a micro-concrete. It is a R4 structural repair mortar according to EN 1504-3. It contains advanced corrosion inhibitors and offers high early & ultimate strengths. This product is formulated to be RCS (respirable crystalline silica) free and is manufactured using dust reduction technology.

Typical Applications

  • Non-shrink grouting of machinery & equipment baseplates.
  • Non-shrink grouting of structural steel & concrete column bases.
  • Grouting of pre-cast concrete and filling of gaps between two concrete bodies.
  • Structural repair / reinstatement of large area defects from 12 to 120 mm thickness. It can be extended for thicknesses greater than 120 mm, contact Hychem® Technical Service for guidance.
  • Anchoring of a wide range of fixings such as anchor bolts, starter bolts and dowels.
  • Can be used as a micro-concrete and for foundation re-builds.

  • High early Compressive Strength of 15 MPa in 6 hours, 44 MPa in 24 hours and 90 MPa ultimate strength.
  • Fiber reinforced for durability and micro-crack control.
  • 60-minute working time to facilitate placement.
  • Very low permeability for superior resistance to carbon dioxide & chloride ion penetration.
  • Suitable for use in aggressive environments where subjected to contents with a pH range of between 3 –12.
  • Withstands exposure to sulfate ions without significant deterioration over time.
  • Withstands long-term exposure to environmental conditions without significant deterioration.
  • Surpasses requirements of EN 1504 Principles of 3. Concrete restoration, 4. Structural strengthening and 7. Preserving or restoring passivity.
  • Suitable for use in concrete structures classified under AS 3600 exposure categories A1, A2, B and C. For structures in exposure category D, this mortar may be used when incorporated into a system.
  • TMR registered for use as a repair mortar.
